Sara lands in the hospital

As the story progresses, Sara, who appears to be mentally disturbed one day, decides to cook for her son, Bibin Ouseph, and have a conversation with him. Basically, Sara wanted to tell her son that she has committed some crimes in her life and that she has been really hard on him too.

Sara, after this, lands in a hospital with a head injury, and now Bibin goes missing. Sara, in her not-so-stable condition, asks doctors to help her and get her an advocate and a policeman of her area. She wanted to hand over two letters to the men who she called really confidential.

The policeman who gets the letter first reads it in his car and gets shocked, after which he decides to talk to his senior regarding this. The senior policeman also gets shocked and says that the letter should not reach the magistrate via the advocate. But before the policemen took action, the advocate had already reached the magistrate with the highly confidential letter. The three men, including the magistrate, two policemen, and the advocate, now knew what Sara had written in her letters, and they now wanted to hide it from the world.

The leap of 12 years!

The show after this takes a leap of 12 years. The first scenes after these many years showcase the team of three same men discussing the case once again. The story now progresses with some murders and deaths who indirectly had a connection with Sara's missing son Bibin. Now police, with a fresh mood, start investing where Bipin is.

In a drastic twist to the show's strory, an ex-coworker and love interest of Bipin contacts police and shares that someone has been sending her letters anonymously and that she doubts that it is Bipin. Upon investing further, the new policeman gets introduced to the previous police team and the magistrate who knew about Sara's case.

What was Sara's crime?

Sara basically used to exchange newborns at her hospital when she was the head nurse. She used to do this because she got pleasure in it as she was frustrated with her own life and could see people being happy for their kids and family.

Bipin too was not Sara's own child. She had adopted him from a hospital delivery. The police are shown running after Bipin now as he had that diary in which all the details of these deliveries, babies, and their families were there, and they doubted that Bipin may use it wrongly.

The cliffhanger

In the last episode, police finally, after so many efforts and an intense probe, reach Bipin. The last scenes actually reveal what Sara said in her last conversation with her adopted son Bipin. She told him that the last entry that she made on the wall with a permanent marker was about his birth details. It also had details of his actual parents.

Bipin is seen getting disturbed by Sara's laugh that haunts him after so many years. Bipin, in the end, confessed that it was him who killed Sara, as after what she did to the 1000 babies at the hospital, she did not deserve to live. Bipin also confessed to other killings linked to his life story. But there was more to the story that the police wanted to know from Bipin, but unfortunately one of the policemen present at the scene had to shoot Bipin as a result of his provocation while the other officer wanted to arrest him.
